Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and talented Hair Braider and Natural Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. In this role, you will specialize in creating beautiful, intricate braids, twists, and natural hair styles that celebrate individuality and cultural heritage. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and staying current with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling. Proven experience in professional hair braiding techniques such as box braids, micro braids, knotless braids, or similar styles Strong background in natural hair care practices including styling with minimal heat or chemicals Knowledge of salon software platforms like MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management Familiarity with color theory for hair coloring services and the use of straight razors for precise cuts when needed Experience in retail sales including upselling products like hair extensions, nail care items, or makeup products Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients while providing excellent customer service Prior experience mentoring team members or providing training on sanitation procedures, store management tasks or advanced styling techniques We value energetic professionals who are eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment that celebrates creativity and cultural expression.
