Duties

Perform various braiding styles and hair styling techniques tailored to client preferences.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with industry regulations.
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Utilize salon software systems for appointment scheduling, client records, and upselling services.
Manage client communication effectively to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Assist with store management tasks when required, including product recommendations and retail sales.
Stay current on the latest trends in hair styling, coloring, and techniques through ongoing education and mentoring opportunities.
Uphold professional standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment for all clients.

Skills

Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, braiding, coloring, extensions, and makeup application.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to perform various hairstyling techniques including braids, twists, updos, and more advanced styles like hair extensions.
Willingness to operate systems and upselling retail products or additional services.
