As a Hair Braider, you will bring your passion for hair styling and creativity to craft beautiful, personalized braiding styles that leave clients feeling confident and radiant. Responsibilities

Create a variety of braid styles, including traditional, intricate, and trendy designs tailored to each client’s preferences.
Assist clients with hair extensions, color treatments, and hair styling to enhance their overall look.
Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by adhering to salon sanitation standards and using proper tools such as straight razors when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive experience.
Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
Educate clients on hair care routines, retail products, and upselling opportunities to maximize their satisfaction and salon revenue.
Support store management with front desk duties, appointment bookings, and maintaining an organized work environment.
Mentor junior team members in hair braiding techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hair braiding techniques, including the use of hair extensions and threading methods.
Knowledge of salon services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and barbering is a plus.
Strong understanding of color theory for advising clients on hair coloring options that complement their style.
Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively.
Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Experience in retail sales, upselling products, and retail math to contribute to store success.
