We're Salon Aken, an Aveda Concept Salon in the heart of Andersonville, and we're looking for a stylist who's ready for more than just a place to work. We're not a high-pressure, competitive salon. What You'll Do
Provide exceptional haircuts, color, highlights, balayage, styling, and treatments
Consult with guests to understand their vision and bring it to life with expert technique
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back
Stay on top of trends and continue developing your craft
Collaborate with a supportive team that encourages growth and creativity
You Might Be a Great Fit If You
Are a licensed cosmetologist in Illinois
Have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on salon experience
Have strong skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and guest communication
Love connecting with guests and making them feel amazing
Want to grow your skills, income, and confidence in a salon where you can be yourself
Are open to learning and aligning with our values around holistic beauty, sustainability, and guest care
Are professional, reliable, and ready to contribute to a positive team culture
Have a basic understanding of social media and promotion (a plus!)
