As an Artisan, you'll blend your cut and color expertise with our vibrant salon culture, helping our guests discover and love their hair. Whether they’ve had a look for 10 years or 10 minutes, you’ll ensure they leave blō Out Lounge & Colour Bar looking and more importantly, feeling better than when they first came in.

Key Responsibilities:

Color Expertise: Utilize our Kevin Murphy, Davines, and Redken Shades color lines to create the color and tones of our guests’ dreams. From root touch-ups to balayages, each color and look is personalized to our guests after thorough consultations each visit.
Masterful Haircuts: Deliver precision haircuts that reflect client preferences and enhance their natural beauty.
Exceptional Customer Service: Provide personalized consultations, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile and confidence in their look.
Continuous Learning: Embrace ongoing training and education opportunities to stay ahead in the latest trends and techniques.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to foster a supportive and positive salon environment.
Professionalism: Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and respect for clients and team members.
Lounge Cleanliness: Adhere to salon safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest hairstyle trends to bring innovative ideas to the salon.

Performance Goals:

Creative Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest concerns effectively to ensure high satisfaction.
Guest Satisfaction: Achieve positive feedback and high ratings through outstanding service.
Guest Retention: Maintain a strong rate of returning guests through exceptional service and care.
Service and Retail Sales: Meet revenue targets and contribute to Lounge profitability through effective sales strategies.
Ongoing Education: Complete required technical and business training to enhance skills and career growth.

Additional Responsibilities:

Team Engagement: Participate in team meetings and educational classes.
Collaboration: Work with the Front Desk and Artisan Assistants to ensure smooth operations.
Social Media: Contribute to our social media presence, showcasing your work and engaging with our community.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the cosmetology field.
Certification: Valid NJ cosmetology license.
Skills: Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
