Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hair role based at Sydney G Salon in Phoenix, AZ. The professional in this role will provide hair consultations, recommend services and products, and deliver a full range of hair services, including cutting, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs. Daily tasks include performing precise haircuts, blowouts, styling for everyday and special occasions, and maintaining hair and scalp health through appropriate care techniques and product use. The role also involves managing appointment schedules, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation and safety standards, and building strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals. Team collaboration, participation in salon meetings or trainings, and staying up to date with current trends and techniques are also key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Cutting, including modern, classic, and textured techniques.Strong knowledge of Cosmetology and Hair Care, including product usage, treatments, and scalp health.Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build lasting client relationships.Current cosmetology license in the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain one before start date.Ability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.Experience in a salon environment preferred; willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.
