Guest Experience Expert

J Salon & Phil’s Barber Shop is looking for a friendly, professional, stylish, and highly organized Guest Experience Expert to join our team.

We are a busy, established salon and barber shop in Honolulu, serving guests since 2003. As part of the beauty industry, presentation matters. Our Guest Experience team is often the first impression of our brand, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in how they present themselves, enjoys fashion, dresses well, and understands the importance of creating a beautiful, elevated environment for our guests.

Position: Guest Experience Expert

Schedule: Full-time or part-time may be considered

Location: Honolulu, HI

Responsibilities include:

Greeting guests and creating a warm, professional first impression

Answering phones, texts, and appointment inquiries

Booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments

Managing guest check-in and checkout

Supporting stylists, barbers, and salon leadership

Maintaining a clean, organized front desk and retail area

Assisting with product sales and guest recommendations

Helping keep the day running smoothly

Representing the salon with confidence, professionalism, and personal style

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, dependable, and professional

Stylish, well-presented, and interested in beauty, fashion, and personal image

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment

Detail-oriented and organized

A strong communicator in person, by phone, and by text

Able to multitask without losing focus

Comfortable with computers, scheduling software, and basic office tasks

Previous salon, spa, hospitality, retail, fashion, or front desk experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
