Responsibilities
Provide expert hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair care services tailored to each client’s needs.Perform tattoo artistry with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, ensuring client satisfaction.Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations and industry best practices.Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions efficiently.Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their preferences, and offering personalized recommendations.Upsell additional services like makeup application, nail care, or hair treatments to enhance client experience and salon revenue.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, tattoo artistry, and beauty industry innovations.Assist in store management tasks when needed, including inventory management and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.Qualifications
Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a stylist or tattoo artist; certification in cosmetology or barbering required.Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, color theory, and hair styling tools including straight razors.Skilled in tattoo artistry with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency.Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms.Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and understand their needs.Knowledge of sanitation protocols essential for maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.Additional skills such as hair threading, makeup application, nail care, or store management experience are a plus.Join us if you're passionate about elevating beauty standards through your craft!
