Nevaeh Salon & Spa Receptionist

This person should provide excellent service to guests who come into our salon and spa as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products. This person takes pride in his/her own appearance and well-being and believes learning never ends. He/she is committed to continuing education, both as provided by us and self-study. Must never have a “that’s not my job” attitude. Always thinks as a team player about what can be done to help the entire organization, another co-worker, or a client.

Job duties include:

Scheduling guest salon and spa services while implementing proper proceduresGreeting guests and escorting them to waiting areasEducating guests on servicesMaximize bookings for each service professional in a fair and consistent mannerClosing sales and encouraging guests to pre-book servicesCross-service recommendationsProduct recommendationsExecuting standard telephone procedures using appropriate customer service etiquetteConfirming appointmentsInforming service professionals of daily schedules and/or any adjustmentsResolving guest challenges, utilizing support from the Salon Manager when necessarySupporting retail and service staffResponsibility for balancing and checking register drawerCompleting hourly and daily cleaning checklists and performing general cleaningPerforming other duties as assignedResponsibilities & Other Information

Reports to Salon ManagementInteracts primarily with guests, involving the utmost in professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.Interacts with other team members and management, involving the utmost in professionalism and teamwork.Confirm phone and online reservations.Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints.Collect payment from departing guests.Keep records of occupied rooms and guests.Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Have you filled out an application including your availability at NevaehSalonSpa.com ?Depending on where you live, would you be willing to work at a different Nevaeh location or between multiple Nevaeh locations?We typically schedule our shifts Monday through Thursday, 8:45am-3pm and 3pm-9pm.Friday 8:45am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-7pm.
Saturday 7:45am-1pm and 1pm-6pm.
We are closed on Sundays.
While completely open availability is always best, what shifts would you be available to work and approximately how many hours are you looking to work each week?
