Duties

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring and styling with precision and artistry
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend suitable treatments based on hair type and face shape
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations, including sterilizing tools and workstations
Apply advanced techniques to meet diverse client needs
Recommend retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to enhance client results

Skills

Experience in hair styling, coloring (including color theory)
Knowledge of sanitation practices for tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure a safe environment
Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and hair threading for diverse clientele
Leadership qualities that support team mentoring and front desk responsibilities
Excellent customer service skills that foster loyalty and positive client experiences
