Experienced Hair Stylist — Color, Balayage & Extensions

Box Office Hair is an appointment-only salon in Winter Springs, Florida — minutes from Oviedo, in the greater Orlando / Central Florida area. We are hiring one experienced hair stylist.

One position. Not a roster to fill.

THE WORK

Hair color, balayage, blonding, highlights and lowlights, gray blending and coverage, color correction, precision cutting, styling, and hair extensions.

You are not expected to have mastered all of it. We are looking for real strength in color and cutting, and genuine interest in the rest. Hair extension experience is highly valuable and preferred, but it is not required — if you have the hands, the eye and the willingness to learn the method properly, we would rather teach you our way than pass on an excellent stylist.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- An active Florida cosmetology license (required before performing licensed services in Florida), or a legitimate path to one already underway

- Real proof of work — a portfolio, an Instagram, or photos of work you are proud of

- Strength in color, balayage, blonding and cutting

- Punctuality that can be counted on

- Cleanliness and hygiene held without being asked

- Organization — your station, your timing, your notes

- Guest care that continues after the appointment ends

- Accountability, and clear, respectful communication

- A teammate, not a solo act

- Pride in the craft, and a willingness to keep learning

EMPLOYMENT

This is a W-2 employed position. Box Office Hair is a commission-based salon, and stylists may also receive tips. Specific compensation details are discussed transparently during the hiring process. Full-time or part-time may be considered for the right stylist.

RELOCATING TO CENTRAL FLORIDA?

Experienced stylists licensed in other states are welcome to explore this opportunity. A Florida cosmetology license is required before performing cosmetology services in Florida, and eligibility for licensure by endorsement depends on individual circumstances — candidates should verify their own eligibility with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
