Responsibilities

Provide professional haircuts, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, keratin treatments and other specialized hair and makeup services.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas following health regulations.
Utilize salon software l for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client satisfaction and store revenue.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling client inquiries efficiently.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, color theory, and customer service excellence.
Engage clients with effective communication skills to understand their needs and deliver personalized solutions.
Upsell salon services and retail products confidently while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Support store management with daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high service standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse skills in hair styling and grooming.
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and sales management.
Skilled in various techniques including haircutting (including straight razor work), coloring (color theory expertise), hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
Familiarity with sanitation protocols to uphold health standards within the salon environment.
Experience in retail sales with an understanding of retail math for upselling products effectively.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
Ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm for the beauty industry.
