M. Hair Studio is growing, and we are looking for an experienced stylist with at least three years of full time behind the chair experience who is ready for the next stage of their career.
We have the guests. We are looking for the stylist.

Our team is experiencing strong demand, with busy books and new guests actively looking for appointments. This is an opportunity for an established stylist who wants to grow their income, strengthen their clientele, continue developing their craft, and build a long term career within a professional salon environment.

Bringing a clientele with you? Qualified stylists may receive up to a $3,000 sign on bonus based on established, transferable clientele.

What You Can Expect
Strong guest demand
You will not be expected to build alone. We actively invest in marketing and new guest acquisition, and our growing salon has consistent demand for additional appointment availability.
Competitive compensation
Stylists earn starting rate of 45% commission or a $16 per hour guarantee, whichever is greater.
Up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus

Established stylists bringing a transferable clientele may qualify for a sign on bonus of up to $3,000, based on the size of their existing clientele. Details and eligibility are discussed during the interview process.

Who We Are Looking For

This is not an entry level position.

Applicants must

Hold an active Tennessee cosmetology license
Have a minimum of 3 years of full time professional experience behind the chair
Have strong experience in both cutting and color
Deliver confident, thorough consultations
Demonstrate consistent technical standards and attention to detail
Be comfortable recommending professional home care
Understand the importance of rebooking, retention, and building long term guest relationships
Communicate professionally with guests and teammates
Be dependable, accountable, and receptive to coaching and feedback
Want to continue growing professionally and financially
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment

Aveda color experience is strongly preferred.
An existing clientele is welcomed but not required. We have strong guest demand and actively market the salon to help the right stylist continue building their book.
