About this role

We are hiring an experienced Hair Stylist and Colorist to take on a full book of cutting, color, and styling work. This is a long-term seat, not a stepping stone. We are looking for a licensed professional who is precise with color, consistent behind the chair, and reliable with a schedule — someone who wants to settle in, build a following, and grow with the salon over years rather than seasons.

You will not be starting from an empty book. We have a steady flow of walk-in clients and an established client base, so a stylist who delivers consistent work builds a following here quickly.

What you will do

Perform haircuts, styling, color, highlights, and extension services
Consult with clients on the look they want and recommend appropriate services and retail products
Formulate and apply color with precision, following salon standards for safety and sanitation
Maintain clean tools, station, and work areas to salon standards
Manage your appointments and client records in MINDBODY
Mentor junior stylists and share technique with the team
Keep current on color and styling techniques through ongoing education

What we are looking for

Florida Cosmetology License (required)
Proven experience behind the chair as a hair stylist or color specialist
Strong command of color theory, color correction, and professional product knowledge
Dependability — consistent attendance and a schedule your clients can count on
Clear, professional communication in consultations and with the team
Comfort with salon software such as MINDBODY

Nice to have

Barbering and clipper work, including straight-razor shaving
Extension application experience
Makeup application
Bilingual

Schedule, pay, and benefits

Full-time or part-time, 20–40 hours per week
Primarily commission-based, with hourly or hourly-plus-commission arrangements available depending on experience
$41,500 – $85,500 per year
