Black Label by Salon Kreed is looking for an experienced hair extension artist to join our new salon, opening in early November 2026.

As an extension of the Salon Kreed family, Black Label will remain connected to Salon Kreed, located directly next door. Our two spaces will share a commitment to exceptional service, creativity, and continued education, with Black Label offering a full-service salon experience with a specialized focus on hair extensions.

Black Label will also serve as our dedicated education space, hosting hair extension training alongside future color and cutting classes in collaboration with Salon Kreed next door. We’re creating a space where stylists can share their expertise, grow their skills, and inspire one another.

About the Role

As an experienced hair extension artist, you’ll create polished, personalized looks through thoughtful consultations, tailored extension recommendations, and skilled application, blending, and maintenance. You’ll bring strong hair care knowledge, a sharp eye for color, and a welcoming approach to every appointment.

By matching extension methods and styling choices to each client’s needs, you’ll help clients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their goals, explain service options, and provide guidance on at-home care.

Apply, blend, style, and maintain hair extensions, tailoring each service to the client’s hair, lifestyle, and desired results.

Provide hair coloring, styling, and other cosmetology services within your qualifications.

Maintain clean tools and work areas, follow sanitation practices, and contribute to a safe, organized salon.

Use salon software, such as Phorest, to manage appointments and support front desk tasks as needed.

Recommend products and services that support clients’ results and at-home maintenance.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment across Black Label and Salon Kreed, sharing knowledge and mentoring team members as appropriate.

Requirements

Beauty industry experience with demonstrated skill in hair extensions, styling, hair care, and customer service.

Strong consultation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and understand individual client preferences.

Knowledge of cosmetology, sanitation, hair coloring, and color theory.

A team-oriented mindset and an enthusiasm for continued learning and professional growth.

Experience with salon software, front desk operations, retail sales, or mentoring is a plus.

Additional beauty service skills are welcome.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
