Experienced Assistant Manager For Hair Salon is needed (3 years experience needed)

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our vibrant hair salon team! Duties Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service Lead and mentor team members in hair styling, coloring, extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to promote professional growth Manage client communication to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and build lasting relationships Utilize salon software such as Zenoti to schedule appointments, process transactions, and maintain accurate client records Support retail sales efforts through upselling hair care products, retail math strategies, and promoting new services like hair threading or barbering Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices for all services including straight razor shaving and other barbering techniques Assist with front desk responsibilities including appointment booking, answering inquiries, and managing the salon’s daily flow Coordinate training sessions and mentoring programs to enhance team skills in color theory, store management, and customer service excellence Minimum of three years of experience working within the beauty or hair industry with a proven track record of leadership roles Strong knowledge of salon software systems such as Zenoti or similar platforms Skilled in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves and haircutting for diverse client needs Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members Deep understanding of sanitation protocols and cosmetology standards to ensure a safe environment Ability to manage retail sales through upselling strategies while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels Experience mentoring staff members in technical skills like hair threading or advanced styling techniques
