Are you an experienced Hair Stylist or Cosmetology Educator passionate about sharing your experience and expertise with new talent coming into our industry? At Douglas J, we're looking for experienced Cosmetologists and Licensed Cosmetology Educators to inspire and educate our daytime and evening students. If you are not yet a licensed Educator, this position provides paid training and state requirements to become a licensed Instructor.

What You'll Do:

Teach assigned classes under the supervision and guidance of the Education Coach & Institute DirectorHelp students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course contentMaintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge in teaching fieldMaintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional positionGrade and return student work in a timely mannerInstruct students on proper sanitation methods and oversee sanitation efforts throughout the dayClassroom management; ensure student compliance with school rules and regulationsMust be solutions-based person who can handle classroom management situationsComplete other assigned duties, as neededRequirements

What We're Looking For:
