Cosmetology Apprentice

Job Overview Duties Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.Willingness to learn professional haircutting, blow-drying, styling, color applications, shampooing, and salon best practices under the supervision of licensed cosmetologists.Experience working in the beauty industry or related fields is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Retail sales skills including upselling products and retail math to support store management goals.Excellent customer service skills to create welcoming experiences that encourage repeat visits.Requirements Passion for the beauty industryMust be eligible to participate in the California Cosmetology Apprenticeship ProgramMust enroll in and pay for your own cosmetology school (the salon provides apprenticeship sponsorship and paid on-the-job training) *required prior to start Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethicAbility to communicate in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.Able to work Saturdays and SundaysJoin us as a Cosmetology Apprentice and unlock your potential in a lively setting that celebrates creativity, professionalism, and growth!
