Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, extensions, and special occasion styles using advanced techniques such as balayage and hair threading.Perform skincare treatments and makeup applications tailored to each client's preferences and occasions.Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations efficiently.Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Offer retail sales of hair care products, cosmetics, and accessories through upselling techniques that enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments with retail math proficiency.Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in color theory, styling techniques, and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative atmosphere.Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus.Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including hair extensions), makeup application, and skincare treatments.Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.Ability to perform retail sales effectively through upselling while maintaining a focus on customer service.Experience with store management or mentoring is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
