Requirements
VALID cosmetology or barbering license as per NC state or local regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services with a portfolio of work preferred.
Strong understanding of color theory and advanced techniques like hair extensions.
Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Proficiency in hair styling tools including curling irons, flat irons, blow dryers, shears, razors, and clippers.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products effectively.
Experience with store management or leadership roles is a plus but not required.
Capable of multitasking at the front waiting area while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties
Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, styling, and special occasion looks.
Provide expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts.
Apply professional precision to enhance client beauty.
Utilize salon software like Booksy or theCut app for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations following health regulations.
Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or retail products.
Manage responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and grooming styles to provide innovative solutions.
