Responsibilities
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and texturing services using current techniques and trendsMaintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with industry regulationsOffer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to earn commission.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and provide personalized recommendationsAssist with front desk duties including client check-in/out, appointment confirmations, and maintaining a welcoming environmentMentor junior team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative team atmosphereSkills
Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and barbering techniqueExpertise in hair care treatments, including the use of color theory for customized coloring solutionsSkilled in hair extensions application, hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensionsExcellent communication skills for client consultations and building lasting relationshipsAbility to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staffRetail sales acumen with experience in upselling products such as hair care items and cosmeticsStore management skills including front desk operations, mentoring staff, and inventory controlFamiliarity with retail math for calculating product pricing and sales transactionsPay: $40.00 - $100.00 per hour
