Lovin’ Color Salon & Spa is looking for a talented, motivated licensed Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist to join our team in Missoula!
We are especially interested in someone who loves the creative side of the beauty industry and wants to continue growing their skills and clientele. Our salon specializes in services such as custom color, blonding, vivid/fashion colors, all-over color, dimensional color, transitional color, and color corrections.
Whether you are an experienced stylist looking for a new salon home or a newer stylist who is eager to learn, grow, and build a strong career behind the chair, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, creative, team-oriented, and genuinely excited about making clients feel amazing.
Responsibilities
Provide professional hair services including cuts, styling, all-over color, root retouches, highlights, blonding, dimensional color, vivid/fashion colors, and corrective color servicesPerform thorough client consultations and create customized plans based on each client's hair, lifestyle, goals, and maintenance expectationsMaintain proper sanitation and a clean, organized workstationProvide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming salon experienceEducate clients on professional products, home care, and maintaining their color between appointmentsRecommend and retail appropriate professional hair-care productsMaintain accurate client information and appointment recordsHelp maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of shared salon spacesWork collaboratively with other members of the salon teamContinue developing skills through education, mentoring, and hands-on experienceStay current on hair trends, color techniques, products, and industry educationTake pride in building and retaining a loyal clienteleWhat We're Looking For
Current Montana cosmetology license or eligibility for Montana licensurePassion for hair color and the beauty industryStrong communication and client consultation skillsDependable and professional work ethicWillingness to learn and continue improvingAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to contribute to the salon environmentExisting clientele is welcome, but not requiredNewer stylists and upcoming cosmetology graduates are encouraged to applyA Great Fit for Someone Who Loves
