Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions with precision and creativityApply advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, lowlights, and color theory principles to achieve desired client resultsUse salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales trackingMaintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and ensuring the salon adheres to health regulationsProvide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering professional recommendations for hair care and retail productsAssist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail transactions with retail math accurately.Stay current on industry trends to offer diverse services.Upsell retail products effectively by understanding client preferences and explaining benefits confidentlyQualifications Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification as required by state lawProven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like hair extensions or straight razor shavesStrong knowledge of color theory and current beauty trendsFamiliarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and sales managementExcellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectivelyDemonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling strategies to enhance client satisfaction and store revenueKnowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staffExperience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care or hair threading is a plusStore management skills or mentoring experience are desirable but not requiredJoin us in creating beautiful transformations while enjoying a lively work environment that values your talent!
