Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beautyProvide specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to diversify service offeringsMaintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safetyUse salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficientlyEngage clients with excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services for upselling opportunitiesAssist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail transactionsMentor junior team members by sharing expertise in areas such as color theory, store management, and advanced styling techniquesRequirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and techniquesExperience in hair styling, coloring, straight razor grooming, and hair extensions is highly preferredProficiency with salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail managementStrong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staffExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationshipsKnowledge of retail math for effective upselling of products such as hair care items, makeup, nail care supplies, and retail accessoriesAbility to perform additional services including eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading as neededStore management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon environmentJoin us in creating beauty experiences that inspire confidence!
