Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive lesson plans that cover a wide range of cosmetology topics, including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and esthetic treatments.
Deliver engaging classroom lectures combined with practical demonstrations to ensure students grasp technical skills effectively.
Provide personalized coaching and feedback to students on techniques such as hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques like dermabrasion, laser treatments, and advanced hair coloring into curriculum content.
Assess student progress through evaluations and practical exams, offering constructive guidance to foster professional growth.
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment by adhering to health regulations and safety standards related to cosmetology practices.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum quality and develop innovative teaching methods that cater to adult learners.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology license with extensive hands-on experience in hair styling, coloring, extensions, nail care, and esthetic treatments.
Proven classroom or training experience with the ability to teach adult education effectively.
Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures such as trigger point therapy and facial treatments.
Skilled in a variety of cosmetology techniques including hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, barbering, and nail care.
Familiarity with advanced aesthetic treatments like dermabrasion and laser therapies is a plus.
Exceptional lesson planning skills combined with the ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning styles.
