Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cosmetologist Hair Stylist to join our talented team. In this role, you will provide expert hair styling, coloring, and grooming services while ensuring an outstanding client experience. Your passion for beauty and commitment to excellence will help our guests look and feel their best, whether they’re visiting for a quick refresh or a complete transformation.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions, and makeup application with precision and creativity.
Use salon software such as Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation procedures in accordance with state regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
Stay current on the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, including inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Upsell products and additional services to enhance client experiences while respecting their preferences.

Experience

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist or barber with proficiency in hair care, styling, coloring, and extensions.
Knowledge of salon software platforms such as Vagaro or similar systems for appointment scheduling and client management.
Skilled in sanitation practices, including the use of straight razors where applicable, to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor junior team members and build lasting client relationships.
Familiarity with store management procedures is a plus; enthusiasm for continuous learning about new techniques like hair coloring theory or makeup application is highly valued.

Pay: $28.21 - $50.52 per hour
