Duties

Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles with enthusiasm and precision.Perform hair coloring treatments using advanced color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle shades tailored to each client’s preferences.Apply hair extensions and utilize various techniques to enhance length, volume, or texture as requested.Conduct consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and educate on hair care routines.Maintain salon sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.Upsell retail products like shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care accessories to enhance client results and increase revenue.Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling client communication professionally.Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in styling techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.Stay current on industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to hair coloring, barbering (including straight razor techniques), eyelash extensions, nail care, and overall beauty industry advancements.Qualifications

Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification as required by state law.Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse styling projects.Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.Knowledge of hair care products, color theory, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care services is highly desirable.Skilled in hair coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, lowlights, and corrective color applications.Ability to perform haircutting using scissors or straight razors with precision and confidence.Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.Strong sanitation practices to ensure a clean working environment at all times.Store management experience is a plus for those interested in advancing into leadership roles.Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude that fosters repeat business.Join us in creating beautiful transformations while enjoying a lively work atmosphere that encourages growth! Pay: $21.28 - $27.36 per hour
