Cosmetologist Hair Stylist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Cosmetologist Hair Stylist to join our vibrant beauty team! Duties

Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to enhance client beauty routines
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
Utilize salon management software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently
Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales through upselling techniques that meet their needs
Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment confirmations
Mentor junior staff or apprentices to promote skill development and uphold high service standards
Stay current on industry trends, color theory, new techniques like straight razor shaves or barbering styles, and product innovations to provide cutting-edge services

Experience

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or hair stylist with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
Demonstrated expertise in hair coloring techniques, including balayage, highlights, and color correction
Hands-on experience with hair extensions installation and maintenance as well as eyelash extensions application
Familiarity with sanitation protocols specific to cosmetology practices to ensure client safety
Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing exceptional customer service
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently while maintaining professionalism
Experience working in store management or supervising team members is a plus but not required

Pay: $3,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
