Responsibilities

Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles that meet client expectations.
Perform hair coloring techniques utilizing color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results tailored to each individual.
Apply hair extensions, threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup applications to enhance client beauty routines.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations.
Use salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering expert advice on hair care products, and upselling retail items.
Mentor junior team members and assist with front desk duties to ensure smooth salon operations.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of salon procedures and safety standards.
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair styling, coloring, barbering (including straight razors), and hair extensions.
Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration.
Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment scheduling and retail management.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold a safe and hygienic environment.
Ability to perform additional services like nail care, makeup application, hair threading, and retail sales as needed.
Passion for ongoing learning about the latest trends in hair care, color theory, and styling techniques.
