Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and lifestyle needs, ensuring personalized service.Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, blowouts, and special occasion looks.Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet client requests.Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to enhance their salon experience.Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks when needed.Upsell retail products like hair care items and makeup applications to maximize client satisfaction and store revenue.Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair coloring, barbering with straight razors, or other specialized skills.Experience

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work.Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.Knowledge of current trends in hair styling, coloring techniques based on color theory, and retail sales strategies.Skilled in various services including haircutting (including barbering), hair extensions installation, makeup application, nail care basics, and eyelash extensions.Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration.Experience working in a fast-paced salon environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.Ability to perform specialized services such as hair threading or using a straight razor with precision and safety awareness.Join us if you’re passionate about transforming looks through expert styling while delivering outstanding customer service!
