Ashby Rose Hair is seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Cosmetologist/Hairstylist to join our growing team. We are a modern, professional salon dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through expert cutting, coloring, chemical services, styling, and personalized care.

We are looking for a licensed professional who is passionate about the beauty industry, committed to continued growth, and confident performing a wide range of hair services for men, women, and children.

Qualifications

Current South Carolina Cosmetology License
Strong consultation and communication skills
Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strong time management and organizational skills
Retail and product recommendation experience preferred

Haircutting

Men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts
Precision cutting techniques
Layering, texturizing, and shaping
Fades, tapers, clipper cuts, and scissor-over-comb techniques
Blowouts and styling

Color Services

Single-process color
All-over color
Gray coverage
Fashion colors
Corrective color
Toners and glosses

Highlighting & Blonding

Partial and full highlights
Lowlights
Balayage
Blonding services

Chemical Services: (not mandator but preferred)

Perms
Keratin treatments
Brazilian Blowout treatments

Styling & Treatments

Blow-dry styling
Flat iron and curling iron styling
Natural texture styling
Updos and special occasion styling
Deep conditioning treatments
Scalp treatments
