Cosmetologist

City, State: Montgomery, Texas Title: Cosmetologist Location: Montgomery, TX FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: On-Call Reports to: Spa Director Pay Range: $2.13HR + Commission. Essential Functions and Duties: - Provide a full range of cosmetology services including haircuts, styling, coloring, blowouts, and treatments based on guest needs and preferences - Offer additional beauty services such as makeup application, nail care (manicures/pedicures), and scalp or conditioning treatments, as licensed and trained - Consult with guests to understand their goals, provide professional recommendations, and maintain detailed client service records - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with local regulations and company standards - Promote and recommend salon products based on individual guest needs and treatment plans - Stay current on beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver modern, on-brand services - Follow safety protocols and infection control practices at all times - Support salon/spa operations by helping with laundry, retail upkeep, and front desk assistance as needed - Deliver consistent, professional service while fostering a positive, relaxing atmosphere for all guests - Ensure each guest leaves feeling confident, cared for, and inspired to return Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
