COMMISSION HAIRSTYLIST | WILD OAK STUDIO
Hairdressing is a career worth taking seriously.
Wild Oak Studio was built on a simple belief: extraordinary artistry and true professionalism belong in the same room.
There are incredibly talented people in our industry—but talent alone doesn't always teach you how to build a sustainable career.
How do you build a loyal clientele? Create consultations that earn trust? Market yourself authentically? Navigate challenging client situations with confidence? Understand the business behind your chair? Continue increasing your value and income as your career grows?
These are the skills that turn talent into a career.
At Wild Oak Studio, we believe they should be taught.
We're growing our commission team and looking for hairstylists who are ready for what comes next—whether you're continuing to build your book, rebuilding your clientele in a new city, or looking for an environment where you can take an established career even further.
MORE THAN A CHAIR. A CAREER.
At Wild Oak, you'll continue developing your technical craft while receiving coaching and support in the professional and business skills that help create a successful career behind the chair.
We believe you can be:
An artist and business-minded.
Creative and consistent.
Individual and professional.
Our goal isn't to make every stylist the same. It's to give you the tools, education, structure, and support to become the strongest version of the stylist you want to be.
A CLEAR PATH FOR GROWTH
Your starting point depends on your experience, existing clientele, and where you are in your career today.
Our career path includes:
Apprentice → Junior Stylist → Stylist → Senior Stylist → Master Stylist
Commission ranges from 40–50%, with opportunities to advance based on your career level and performance.
As you grow, your opportunity to earn more doesn't stop at commission. Advancement can also include increases in your service pricing as your experience, performance, and demand develop.
You'll have clear milestones so you understand where you are, what you're working toward, and how to reach your next level.
Where you start isn't where you're expected to stay.

We believe great artists should have access to great tools—and we don't believe every head of hair needs to fit inside a single color line.
Our primary professional color lines include Davines, Oligo, and Redken, with additional color options from Aveda, Pulp Riot, and #mydentity available within our color collection.
This gives our stylists the flexibility to work across multiple professional lines and choose the products and formulations that best support the client and desired result.
Our retail collection includes:
K18, R+Co, Olaplex, Oligo
We believe retail should support the work you create behind the chair, which is why product education is part of stylist development at Wild Oak. Profits from our retail program are also reinvested into our stylist education fund, allowing retail success to directly support continued education for our team.
WE TEACH MORE THAN HAIR
