Role Description The Chair Rental Hairstylist is a full-time, on-site role based at Eire + Co Salon in Rosemount, MN. The hairstylist will manage their own client base while providing a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair care consultations. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling appointments, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, recommending appropriate products, and ensuring each client receives attentive, high-quality service. The role also involves maintaining professional relationships with clients, handling payments, and collaborating with other salon professionals to support a positive, inclusive environment. As a chair renter, the hairstylist operates with business independence while adhering to salon policies and standards.

Qualifications

Strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.Professional Cosmetology knowledge with a current cosmetology license valid in Minnesota.Excellent Customer Service and Communication abilities to build and maintain a loyal client base.Ability to manage scheduling, client records, and payments as an independent chair renter.Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.Prior salon experience and an existing client following are highly beneficial.Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule, including peak salon hours.Openness to continuing education, new techniques, and collaboration with a diverse team.
