Responsibilities
Lead daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY to optimize client flow
Supervise and mentor team members in hair styling, barbering, nail care, eyelash extensions, and makeup application
Maintain rigorous sanitation and hygiene standards across all services and workstations
Oversee retail sales efforts, including upselling retail products like hair extensions, skincare, and cosmetics
Handle front desk duties—greeting clients, managing inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service
Coordinate store management tasks such as inventory control, staff scheduling, and financial tracking using retail math principles
Skills
Extensive knowledge of hair extensions, color theory, straight razor techniques, and hair threading
Proficiency with salon software systems like MINDBODY for booking and client management
Strong understanding of sanitation protocols specific to cosmetology and barbering practices
Excellent communication skills to effectively mentor staff and engage clients
Experience in retail sales with a focus on upselling complementary products and services
Ability to perform diverse beauty treatments including eyelash extensions and makeup application
Leadership qualities with experience in store management, front desk operations, and team mentoring
