Responsibilities

Perform a variety of braiding techniques, including box braids, Senegalese twists, cornrows, and other natural hair styles with precision and creativityProvide professional hair care services such as hair extensions, threading, and makeup application to enhance client satisfactionMaintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and products in accordance with salon protocolsUse salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficientlyOffer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to boost sales through upselling strategiesAssist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operationsMentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques on hair styling, coloring theory, and store management practicesQualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with certification in natural hair styling and braiding techniquesProven experience in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application preferredStrong knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environmentExcellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members effectivelyFamiliarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and retail managementAbility to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidentlyDemonstrated skills in customer service, store management, and retail sales to ensure client satisfaction and business growthJoin us if you’re passionate about empowering clients through beautiful hairstyles while thriving in a supportive team environment!
