Job Summary

Create polished, personalized braided styles as a Braider. You’ll consult with clients, understand their hair-care goals, and deliver attentive service while maintaining a clean, welcoming workspace. Duties

Consult with clients, explain styling options, and communicate care and maintenance guidance.Create braids and other requested styles; apply hair extensions when appropriate.Support related salon services, such as hair styling, hair coloring, hair threading, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and nail care, when qualified and requested.Maintain sanitation practices, prepare tools and work areas, and follow applicable cosmetology and barbering standards.Assist with retail sales, product recommendations, and upselling; use salon software, including MINDBODY, and support store management tasks as assigned.Requirements

Experience working in the beauty industry and demonstrated skill in braiding and hair care.Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills.Knowledge of sanitation and hair styling; familiarity with hair extensions, color theory, hair coloring, straight razor use, and cosmetology or barbering practices is helpful.Retail sales, retail math, mentoring, and store management experience are preferred.Familiarity with salon software, including MINDBODY, and related services such as makeup application, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and nail care is a plus.Pay: $23.44 - $28.23 per hour
