Job Overview

As a Booth Rental Hair Stylist, you’ll manage your own client services in a shared salon setting and create polished, personalized looks. You’ll bring your skills in hair care, styling, and color to each appointment while keeping your station clean and welcoming. This role suits an independent beauty professional who enjoys building client relationships and managing day-to-day salon operations.

Full-time 6 weeks 1/2 Off Rent!

Part-time 3 weeks 1/2 Off Rent!

Duties

Consult with clients, recommend services, and communicate clearly about style preferences and upkeep.
Provide hair styling, coloring, extensions, threading, and barbering services, including straight-razor work when qualified.
Maintain sanitation standards, organize your booth, and manage appointments and records using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Handle front desk tasks as needed, support store management, and use retail math to track products and sales.
Offer relevant retail products and services through thoughtful upselling; mentor peers when appropriate. Your impact: attentive consultations and consistent sanitation help clients feel confident and safe during their salon visits.

Requirements

Experience working in the beauty industry; knowledge of cosmetology, hair care, and color theory. 3 years experience preferred.
Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills.
Familiarity with salon software; MINDBODY experience is useful.
Hair extensions, straight razor, barbering, hair threading, retail sales, and store management skills are relevant.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
