Duties

Provide high-quality hair styling, hair extensions, coloring, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extension services to clients.Manage your own appointment schedule using salon software such as VAGARO or similar platforms.Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards, including sanitation of tools like brushes, combs and implements for hair threading. (if applicable)Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, offering consultations on color theory, hair care routines, and product recommendations.Upsell retail products related to hair care, skincare, and beauty to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue.Handle front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing retail sales transactions.Mentor new or less experienced stylists when needed and contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and support.Requirements

Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.Proven experience in hair styling, including advanced techniques like hair extensions and coloring services.Knowledge of salon software systems such as VAGARO for appointment booking and client management.Strong understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and the use of tools like shears and/ or clippers.Ability to perform diverse services including hair styling, color services, keratin treatments, and cutting servicesExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to promote product sales confidently.Store management skills are a plus for those interested in overseeing daily operations or mentoring team members.
