The Modern Diosa is an elevated and restorative salon specializing in hair extensions, hair loss solutions, custom hair transformations, and curated beauty services.
We're looking for a licensed or soon-to-be licensed cosmetology professional who wants more than just another salon job. This position is ideal for someone who loves blowouts and styling and wants the opportunity to learn, assist, and eventually grow into advanced hair extension services.
Responsibilities
Shampoo and condition clientsPerform professional blowouts and stylingAssist stylists during servicesPrepare clients and stations for appointmentsHelp maintain a clean, organized, zen salon environmentSalon laundry, including towels, capes, and linensSanitize tools, stations, shampoo bowls, and common areasAssist with extension preparation and organizationHelp with client hospitality and overall salon experienceAssist with inventory and salon organizationSupport the team during busy appointment daysWhat We're Looking For
Virginia cosmetology license or currently enrolled/recent graduate where legally appropriate for the duties performedStrong blow-dry and styling skillsReliable and punctualFriendly and professionalComfortable working as part of a teamDetail-oriented and organizedPassionate about the beauty industryInterested in continuing educationInterested in learning hair extensions and hair loss solutionsWilling to help wherever needed to create an exceptional client experienceSchedule
Our salon operates:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
The salon is closed Thursday.
Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available depending on experience and availability.
