Duties

Provide professional blowout styling and hair finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences
Assist clients with selecting suitable hair treatments, including extensions, coloring, or styling options
Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to all sanitation standards and protocols
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking
Upsell retail products like hair care, styling tools, and accessories to enhance client results and satisfaction
Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommend additional services like eyelash extensions or nail care when appropriate
Support front desk operations by greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth salon flow

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management
Skilled in hair styling techniques including blowouts, straightening using razors, and advanced finishing touches
Knowledge of hair coloring, color theory, hair extensions, and hair threading techniques
Experience with makeup application, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse clients
Commitment to sanitation standards and proper use of salon tools and equipment
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative environment

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
