Position OverviewThe Beauty Services Stylist is dedicated to engaging with guests, providing personalized consultations, and recommending products and services tailored to hair care needs. This role focuses on delivering top-notch professional services with a holistic approach to guest appearance. The Stylist will collaborate closely with the Experience Manager and the Assistant Services Manager to enhance performance, deliver exceptional guest service, and adhere to operational procedures.

Core ResponsibilitiesThe Stylist will embody Ulta Beauty's mission and values, performing the following key duties:

Service Performance: Provide hair services such as haircuts, coloring, styling, treatments, and makeup, while meeting an average sales goal of $800 weekly.Sales and Business Acumen: Understand business drivers, identify growth opportunities, and participate in product demonstrations that enhance the guest experience.Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to educate and assist guests effectively.Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with other team members and departments to provide a seamless customer journey.Guest EngagementBuild strong relationships with guests through consultations and effective service recommendations.Exhibit high standards of customer service and uphold salon image standards.Serve all guests promptly, ensuring a positive experience for every visitor.Incorporate feedback to enhance the overall guest experience.Operational ExcellenceComply with Ulta Beauty's operational policies and standards, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.Maintain salon cleanliness and adhere to dress code guidelines.Report supply needs timely to ensure readiness for guest services.QualificationsCurrent cosmetology license.Previous salon experience is desirable.Proficient in a variety of beauty services and techniques.Strong communication skills with the ability to foster customer relationships.Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Working EnvironmentEngage in frequent mobility and occasional lifting during shifts.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.If you have a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to contribute positively to a team, we encourage you to apply! The pay range for this position is between $12.00 - $16.80 per hour, or based on services pay. Pay will be determined by factors such as experience, location, and business needs. Full-time associates may be eligible for comprehensive benefits including paid time off and health insurance.
