Position Overview
Bethany Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Beautician / Cosmetologist to provide hair and personal grooming services for our residents in a warm, respectful, and caring environment. This role helps residents maintain confidence, dignity, and personal wellness through quality salon services and positive social interaction.

Responsibilities


Provide haircuts, shampoos, styling, perms, coloring, and basic grooming services for residents

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon area

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

Follow all sanitation and infection-control guidelines

Schedule and manage resident appointments efficiently

Ensure all cosmetology tools and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained

Create a welcoming and uplifting salon experience for residents

Qualifications


Current Ohio Cosmetology License required

Previous salon or long-term care experience preferred

Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Experience working with elderly or rehabilitation patients is a plus
