Duties

Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, shaves with straight razors, and grooming consultations tailored to each client’s preferences.
Create stunning hairstyles for various occasions using advanced hair styling techniques and tools.
Perform braiding and hair extension installations with precision and attention to detail.
Apply hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results.
Offer professional hair care advice, product recommendations, and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations.
Manage appointments efficiently using salon software, ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow.
Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks, offering mentorship and guidance when needed to foster trust and loyalty.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
Proficiency in salon/barber software systems for appointment scheduling and client management.
Skilled in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and braiding techniques.
Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients.
Experience working with hair extensions and advanced hair care products preferred.
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to store management efforts.
Familiarity with store management practices including inventory control and customer service excellence.

Pay: $28.00 - $77.00 per hour
