We are seeking a talented and energetic Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients while creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, hone your skills, and build lasting relationships with clients in a vibrant salon environment. Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs Offer specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client requests and offering professional recommendations Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and beauty accessories to boost sales and meet store goals Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, straight razor shaves, color theory, and other advanced skills Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology with knowledge of hair styling techniques and trends Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Skilled in hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members Ability to perform store management duties including front desk responsibilities and inventory oversight Knowledge of retail math and upselling strategies to maximize product sales while delivering value to clients
