Duties

Provide expert hair styling services, including cuts, color treatments, and styling using advanced techniques such as hair extensions and balayage. Perform specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction. Manage salon operations efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client records, and sales tracking. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations for retail products and additional services through upselling techniques. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Assist with front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and managing retail sales with retail math skills to optimize revenue. Mentor new team members and support ongoing training in areas like color theory, barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves, and advanced hair styling methods.Skills

Expertise in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and hair styling to create customized looks for diverse client needs. Proficiency with salon software like MINDBODY for efficient appointment management and client communication. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide clear explanations of services offered. Ability to perform nail care procedures and eyelash extension applications with precision. Retail sales experience with upselling skills to recommend products like hair care items or makeup that complement client services. Knowledge of store management principles to help oversee daily operations when needed. Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales optimization. Skilled in makeup application techniques suitable for various occasions. Experience in mentoring team members to foster a collaborative learning environment.
