Job Summary

SOON opening a remoded barber shop/salon! EVERYONE welcome! Not a booth rental, 50/50 profit off clients :) Must be licensed in barber or cosmetologist

Responsibilities

Consult with clients, explain service options, and use clear client communication to understand their preferences.
Deliver barbering and cosmetology services, including hair styling, coloring, extensions, threading, and straight-razor techniques, as qualified.
Recommend hair care products and services through helpful retail sales and appropriate upselling.
Maintain sanitation standards, organize supplies, and support store management tasks, including retail math and salon software such as MINDBODY.
Contribute to a welcoming team environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

Experience working in the beauty industry, with practical knowledge of hair care, barbering, and cosmetology.
Understanding of color theory and the ability to apply hair coloring techniques safely and thoughtfully.
Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills.
Familiarity with salon software; experience with MINDBODY is a plus.
Hair extensions, hair threading, straight-razor work, retail sales, upselling, store management, retail math, and mentoring experience are valued; relevant skills may vary by service needs.

Pay: $10.00 - $3,100.00 per week
