Responsibilities

Perform professional hair styling, coloring, and extension services using techniques such as hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and color theory principles.
Administer grooming services including straight razor shaves and barbering to deliver classic and modern looks.
Provide eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client beauty routines.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Manage salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client records, and retail transactions.
Offer personalized product recommendations through upselling and retail sales to boost client satisfaction and store revenue.
Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients about treatments, aftercare instructions, and product usage.
Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, checking in appointments, and managing walk-ins efficiently.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling techniques, retail strategies, and client communication skills.

Requirements

Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with proficiency in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and sanitation standards.
Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment management.
Strong understanding of color theory to create customized hair color solutions.
Skilled in various grooming services including straight razor shaves and hair threading.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products effectively.
Certification or licensing in cosmetology or barbering as required by local regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.42 - $28.20 per hour
