Responsibilities:

Perform professional barbering services including haircutting, beard trimming, straight razor shaves, and hair styling tailored to each client’s preferences. Utilize advanced techniques such as hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client looks. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following strict sanitation protocols for tools and equipment. Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs, provide expert advice on hair care products, and recommend appropriate services. Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like MINDBODY or similar systems to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow. Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and grooming accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling retail sales while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering techniques, customer service strategies, and salon operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in barbering and hairstyling. Certification as an experienced barber with knowledge of cosmetology standards and regulations. Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment management and client records. Skilled in various hair care techniques including coloring, hair extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading. Expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills for client consultations, retail upselling, and team collaboration. Knowledge of store management principles including retail math for sales tracking. Ability to perform advanced grooming services such as straight razor shaves and eyelash extensions confidently.

Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per day
