Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barber role based at Cifra Barber Shop in Syracuse, NY. The Barber will perform hair cutting, styling, shaving, and grooming services tailored to client preferences and current trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending styles and hair care solutions, maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation and tools, and managing appointment times efficiently. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, supporting a positive team environment, and promoting shop services and products as appropriate.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Hair Cutting and Barbering to deliver precise cuts, shaves, and grooming services.Candidates should possess skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care to create modern styles and advise clients on hair maintenance.Candidates should possess knowledge of Cosmetology principles to ensure safe, hygienic, and professional services.Valid barber or cosmetology license (New York State) or eligibility to obtain one.Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of clients.Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a consistent schedule of appointments.Previous barbershop or salon experience is preferred but not required.
